Yaashica Makad, a vibrant DP2 student, has been passionately dancing for 14 years and playing drums for 3. Her adventurous spirit shines as she embraces every sport she encounters. Her MUN journey is equally impressive, serving as a delegate in 4 MUNs and joining the admin team in 2 more. Now, as OC Head, she's ready to bring her creative touch to KMUN, determined to enhance the event. With a keen eye on current trends and a knack for sharing the latest gossip, Yaashica’s dynamic personality leaves a lasting impact wherever she goes.

SHRUTHI JAIRAM
Shruthi Jairam, the embodiment of a drained-out musical theatre star, is often found with headphones on, typing at an impressive speed of 130 WPM. As a musician, vocalist, cinephile, and vinyl collector, Shruthi brings a unique energy to everything she does. Confident, humorous, quick on her feet and in her head, she has a formidable affinity for film, music, politics, anthropology, and literature. With the power of her tasteful visual concepts, engaging event activities, and her overall striking personality, she’s driven to curate an exciting environment for all delegates and push the event to its fullest potential!

AVANISH IYER
Avanish is the IT Head for KMUN, where he channels his passion for technology into ensuring a seamless experience for all participants. As an aspiring computer science student, Avanish combines technical expertise with a love for problem-solving, making them a key asset to the team. His hobbies, including chess, cycling, and gaming, reflects his strategic thinking and love for challenges. Always eager to tinker with the latest tech, Avanish is excited to bring their skills to this year’s MUN, contributing to its success with enthusiasm and dedication.
DHRUAN LAPSIA
Dhruan is a curious and creative student who finds joy in playing the drums. He’s passionate about computer science, where he turns ideas into reality through code. In his free time, he loves playing video games. But when he needs to unwind, Dhruan picks up his drumsticks, losing himself in the rhythm. Whether he’s coding, gaming, or drumming, Dhruan brings energy, focus, and a unique beat to everything he does.

LOGISTICS HEADS

PRISHA SHAH
Prisha Shah, an IBDP2 student and this year’s KMUN Logistics Head, brings eight years of MUN experience to the role. Having started as a delegate, she’s now excited to experience MUN from a new perspective, free from the pressures of delegation. Passionate about coding, travel, Lego, and shopping, Prisha looks forward to witnessing the crisis unfold and contributing to the seamless planning and execution of the event.
DURVA POPAT
Durva is a creative soul with a passion for painting, music, coding, and sunsets. A dedicated guitarist, they draw inspiration from Dubai’s vibrant energy and the world of Lego. As a cleanliness enthusiast with a keen eye for detail, Durva blends order and creativity in everything they do. Serving as Logistics Head for KMUN, they’re excited to ensure a seamless and memorable event, contributing their organizational expertise behind the scenes.

INTERNATIONAL PRESS

YASHAS CHATTREE
Yashas, an aspiring wildlife conservationist and med student, is an award-winning filmmaker, author, and acclaimed wildlife photographer. Passionate about rock music, he’s known for his late-night jam sessions, despite his neighbors’ displeasure. A seasoned MUN participant since fifth grade, Yashas thrives on the freedom and learning these simulations offer. As International Press Head, he’s eager to bring his creative vision to this MUN, ensuring an unforgettable experience.
SMERA BALAN
Smera is an aspiring artist and designer with a deep passion for creativity, which drives her enthusiasm to work on the MUN’s magazine. With experience as a press member and delegate three times, she now serves as the International Press Head. Smera is excited to capture the fun, intensity, and drama of committee sessions, aiming to make this MUN an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

ADMINISTRATION

AADHYA SHETTY
Aadhya is passionate about many subjects, but she plans to pursue economics, finance, and entrepreneurship as her career. She enjoys reading and dancing in her free time. Aadhya has experience in MUNs and will use her organizational skills as Head of Admin for KMUN 2024 to create a smooth and worry-free experience for all delegates. She will work with the rest of the organizing committee to make this MUN an unforgettable experience.
GURU JAIN
Guru Jain, the Admin Head of KMUN 2024's organizing committee, is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys playing football, cricket, basketball, and more. With a passion for online gaming and a love for event management, Guru has been an active participant in MUNs since 5th grade, gaining experience as both a delegate and an admin. Excited to take on the leadership role as the Admin Head for KMUN 2024, Guru looks forward to contributing to the success of the event and ensuring a memorable experience for all participants.

SECURITY HEADS

AADIT AGARWAL
Aadit Agarwal is a passionate individual with a strong love for sports, particularly football, and an equally deep interest in mathematics. Though he’s new to the Model United Nations (MUN) world, Aadit is eager to dive into this experience as a member of the Organizing Committee (OC). His enthusiasm and fresh perspective will undoubtedly contribute to the success of the event, making him a valuable addition to the team.
DHAIRYA CHANDARANA
Dhairya, a passionate commerce student and Sports Captain at Kanakia International School, excels in leadership both on and off the field. A dedicated musician, he’s proficient in guitar and drums. His extensive MUN experience has sharpened his collaborative spirit and leadership skills. Enthusiastic about esports and athletics, Dhairya’s diverse talents and dedication make him a valuable and energetic team player.

Seher’s creativity knows no bounds, as she immerses herself in dance, visual arts, and innovative design. A national-level judo player, she brings the same dedication and focus to her artistic pursuits. Aspiring to become an architect, Seher is passionate about how the environment and theme can transform an MUN. She’s eager to contribute her creative instincts and fresh ideas to the organizing committee, working to craft an unforgettable experience for all participants.
